Anges
My take on a page of Toni Morrison's "Paradise" (that I still haven't read, shame on me!). The full text is no longer legible with all the markers on it, but one can still read about a lost baby.Hum, I have some strange ideas sometimes...

Double play
The background is a old paper page glued on my journal, then part of the text has been peeled off with masking tape, like Claudine Hellmuth describes it in Collage Discovery WorkshopLabels: Journals
Ce que dure les roses...

The last guests we had for diner brought us some beautiful orchids. Alas! How quickly did they wither and die!
I had a plain purple page waiting for them in my journal. Let's hope there will be no more decay now that they are encased in gel medium!
On top of them a print-out on acetate of a Laelia anceps alba colored on the back with Neocolor II, Lyra and Aquastic crayons. And a bit of Perfect Peal for the shine :)
Background stamp on the left is from StampFrancisco, fonts are Club Scrap Egyptian & Weather. (text in Adirondack Acrylic Cranberry & Sakura Glaze gel pens)
